Growing takes time
Growing is a constant. Whenever I think I’ve achieved a goal I’ve been working towards or think to myself, sigh…I can finally relax…BOOM! Another task is at hand and my mind flitters to a new idea. If you have any air signs in your chart, you know how it is.
But that is just what it is, a thought, an idea. I’ve learned to ground myself to the tangible moment. Looking around my room, around my desk, or at my sweet cat and watch her breathing and sleeping to remind me that this is all temporary and I should just soak it in.
So when life is flying by and you have a million tasks that you seemingly have to do and a checklist to cross out, just take a moment and look around. Look at all of the beauty before we grow too old and regret not appreciating the small things. Growing takes time, but time that we should be immersing ourselves into and enjoying the struggles along with the success.
